Diana Darenberg is a Hong Kong and Berlin-based art writer and art advisor. As a writer she has worked with international galleries, art fairs and biennials, luxury brands, and over twenty international publications including: Harper’s Bazaar; South China Morning Post (Hong Kong); Rossiyskaya Gazeta (Russia); Prestige (Hong Kong); LEAP (China); The Art Newspaper; Ocula; Christie’s; Artomity (Hong Kong); and Asia Tatler. She is also the former editor and co-founder of Framed, an independent Hong Kong art and culture magazine dedicated to profiling local and international artists, collectors, and designers.
Diana has interviewed and profiled some of the most recognisable names in contemporary art and design, including: Anish Kapoor; Georg Baselitz; Takashi Murakami; Sterling Ruby; Neo Rauch; Jeff Koons; Sophie Calle; Theaster Gates; Rachel Kneebone; Catherine Opie; Christian Louboutin; Mary Katrantzou; and David Lynch. She also regularly speaks on panels and television shows about contemporary art and design, including at Art Basel Hong Kong; Photofairs Shanghai; BBC; RTHK; West Bund Art Fair, Shanghai; and for clients such as Louis Vuitton, and international and local art galleries. Previous public talks have featured artists JR, Robin Rhode, Jiang Pengyi, Hernan Bas, and Toby Ziegler; curators Alexie Glass-Kantor, Adeline Ooi, and Jeffrey Deitch; and designer Aurel Aebi.
