It’s October, you’re fielding social invites from left, right and centre. Another party? Another shop opening? I say ditch them all and come check out the Hong Kong International Jazz Festival from 7-12 October.
The line up will include local musicians Alex Fung and his Cello Quartet, the legendary Jimmy Cobb, Larry Coryell, Joey DeFrancesco All Star Trio from the US, and rising star of the Danish jazz scene, Signe Juhl.
Many of the artists are quite young and have already developed a keen following internationally, so this is a great chance to “peek into future trends, and enrich our global horizon in the jazz way” says Festival Director Peter Lee.
There will also be the opportunity for children and adults to participate in workshops with renowned Jazz musicians. All workshops are free but seats are limited so best to get in fast!
